Here is a sneaky peek at what I'm working on at the moment. I recently visited the Natural History Museum. Usually when here I drift towards the dinosaurs, whales and freaky stuffed creatures, but this time I found myself in the geology section wondering over the amazing rocks, crystals and minerals. The colours and shapes were incredible and set me off sketching again. As usual my scientific inquiry stopped at the door, but I was riveted by the beauty of these natural creations. Below are a few pictures of what I found there. Including the rather brilliant mosaic floor.
